Introduction of the Research Group

The FirePharma research group researches health and environmentally friendly composites, biomaterials, pharmaceuticals and other multi-component systems, and develops innovative methods. The synthesis of new additives, the analysis and modification of the surface and interface layers, the applied technological and analytical tools provide the common background for these research areas. The theoretical and practical results of the research group have already led to results in many fields of materials science, on which the current research in the group is based. The main research areas of the current research team of 34 people include research on biopolymers and flame retardants, developments in pharmaceutical technology based on artificial intelligence and modeling, research related to continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing, and research to improve the dissolution of poorly water-soluble drugs. The research team is involved in several domestic and international collaborations in these areas.
