Dr. Zsolt Kelemen

Assistant Professor

Introduction of the Research Group

Our research interest consists in the design, preparation and properties study of boron cluster derivatives and different silicon polymers. Our research fields cover a wide range, from fundamental research to more applied and innovative developments. Indeed, we have been interested in understanding the possible interaction between 2D and 3D aromatic units. Another field of interest is the development of special silicones, which can control the release of different substances.

Achievements

- Conjugation between 2D and 3D aromatics: we have demonstrated what are the main effects which control the conjugation
- New fluorescent carboranes: we have prepared several compounds
