Road Safety Research Group
Introduction of the Research Group
The primary objective of setting up the research group is to reduce the number of road traffic accidents with personal injuries and to moderate the consequences of the accident that has occurred.
Research areas and methods:
1. Statistical analysis of accidents to identify typical accident types and other characteristics and their changes over time.
2. Detailed analysis of specific cases by forensic methods, in particular to examine the avoidance of an accident.
3. Exploring the role of human factors, examining human behavior in traffic and its influencing factors.
4. Development of road transport infrastructure in line with the development of transport needs and traffic safety requirements.
