Introduction of the Research Group
Innovative Pharmaceutical and Chirotechnological Research Group of the Department of Organic chemistry and Technology of Budapest University of Technology and Economics consists of 4 lecturers-researchers, 5 PhD students and over 10 undergraduate students. The main research areas of the group include the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds and biopesticides, the implementation of modern synthetic methods, such as multicomponent reactions, microwave-assisted and continuous flow reactions, the elaboration of organometallic synthesis, the development of resolution procedures for the separation of enantiomers of racemic compounds, and the functionalization and application of cyclodextrins.The IPCLab participates in European and many National research programs and maintains good relations with pharmaceutical companies,
