Applied mobility planning and modeling

Introduction of the Research Group

From traffic measurement to mobility modeling, the research group develops and applies methodologies. The research group uses transport modeling as part of transport planning. The research group participates in research and development projects in the field of traffic technology, transportation networks and operations with a strong partnership of industrial partners.

Achievements

In recent years the research group developed and applied methodologies in relevant projects such as: Budapest Mobility Plan (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Budapest), Soroksár urban mobility plan, Budakeszi road bus lane analysis. The research group supported the development of the Unified Transport Model of Budapest.
