Potential purposes of experimentation

Gas appliance test station designed to test the hydrogen tolerance of domestic gas appliances up to 45 kW heat input, with the possibility of testing efficiency, combustion and operating parameters and emissions

Hydrogen Energy Storage Test Station
The test laboratory is capable of static and dynamic testing of 5 kW fuel cells with artificial load.  

Laboratory for testing the hydrogen tolerance of equipment
The purpose of the test system is to test hydrogen and hydrogen-natural gas and other (e.g. NH3) mixtures in some of the gaseous fuel equipment (e.g. gas engine, gas turbine, perdiesel premix burner) in the Department's laboratory.
